  • NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Test - Instructor Course.  Mr. Head sponsored the first Instructor Course (40 hours of training) in Atlanta for criminal defense attorneys, 1998
  • Intoxilyzer 5000 training course, 40 hours, sponsored by Mr. Head in Atlanta.  The training focused on how to operate the most widely-used breath testing device, and how the device can give erroneous readings. Each student was permitted to observe the device with the cover removed and to run multiple tests on the devices to test the Intoxilyzer 5000's reliability and repeatability of results. In addition, extensive training about human physiology and the science behind infrared breath testing was covered by a Ph.D. level chemist (former College professor) and a former State patrol chemist as well as a State-certified breath machine technician with over 5000 prior tests to his credit., 1996
  • NHTSA Standardized Field Sobriety Test - Practitioner Course.  This is the same basic training course taught to police officers.  Mr. Head sponsored the training program in Atlanta, and this was the first training of this type organized for criminal defense attorneys, 1994
